Obesity myth

The obesity "epidemic" is really about expanding the nanny state:
A new research study from the University of South Australia has found obesity rates among children hit a plateau in 1998, and have not moved since.

The revelations cast serious doubt on previous warnings childhood obesity is increasing every year.
Some honesty at last:
"People are always reluctant to let go a notion which is their life work," he told The Australian.

"I include myself in that because I've written quite a few papers predicting that exponential increase, but we've got to look at the facts and the facts don't bear that out."
