Kristina Keneally (OH-D) is set to announce the sale of electricity assets today for 5 billion dollars. Remember when Bob Carr wanted to sell the power stations? He was expecting to get $30 billion for them. The give away price says all that needs to be said about Labor competence but I do support the sale, afterall does anyone really believe we would ever get any more from them? The good news is that it will be a Barry O'Farrell government who gets to spend the money. Hopefully it will be for needed infrastructure projects not more public servants.

Kristina Keneally (OH-D) wants a US style election
KRISTINA KENEALLY wants to force a presidential-style election, focusing the minds of voters on a choice between two leaders.
Drastically behind in the polls and with a scandal-prone team lacking credibility, Labor strategists have urged the Premier to try to frame the election as ''brand Kristina'' against ''brand Barry''...
Animosity between the pair has intensified markedly since the final question time of Parliament, when Mr O'Farrell presented her with a copy of The Little Aussie Fact Book, suggesting she still had much to learn about her adopted country.
''It was a juvenile joke that had no context and seemed to have no intent other than to make the point that I wasn't born in Australia,'' Ms Keneally told The Sun-Herald.
''I think it's hypocritical to address multicultural groups weekend after weekend, saying he values the contribution of migrants to this country but then to allow his backbench and himself to act in another way in the Parliament.

Say no to raising drinking age
Fred Nile wants to raise the drinking age to 21 and our American Premier, Kristina Keneally, wants to have a debate on the subject. The only reason I can see is to divert peoples attention from the self destruction of her own party. If 18 year olds can be expected to vote the can be expected to drink responsibly. Bad behavior caused by public drunkenness are a policing issue. Fortunately Barry O'Farrell has rejected the proposal.

Kristina and Ferguson's painting
A portrait of pedophile Dennis Ferguson has been submitted to this year's Archibald Prize competition. Our Virgin Queen Kristina Keneally does not approve:
"We all know sometimes art pushes the boundaries but I think this time it has gone too far," she said.
"I think most of the community, and I join them, thinks this is a painting we simply didn't need to see."
The portrait shows Ferguson in the painting's background, with Brett Collins from Justice action group in the foreground.
Asked if the NSW Art Gallery should be stopped from hanging the painting, Ms Keneally answered in the negative but said she wouldn't look at it.
"I don't think this was a painting we needed to see," she said.
"It's been entered and I think the community will make their own judgment.
"I certainly won't be going to view it."
If you don't want to see it fine Kristina, nobody is forcing you too. The real question is does the competition receive any financial support from the government and if so why?
